slowly but surely

it's 3:15 a.m.
listening to Kate Nash's
"Foundations"
over and over and over

painted my toenails red-
can you believe it?!
been quite a few months
since they've had
any color- or pizzaz

finishing my art
booklet is going
slowly

but surely.

i'm enjoying staying up
although i have to
work at 7 a.m.
